AI search · Microsoft Copilot

Get your business recommended by Microsoft Copilot.

Copilot answers with Bing. If Bing doesn't know your business well, Copilot doesn't either, and Microsoft gives you free tools to fix that.

Where answers come from

What Microsoft Copilot reads before it names a business.

From Microsoft's own documentation wherever it exists. Sources at the bottom of the page.

The web

Microsoft's documentation describes Copilot generating a search query from your question and sending it to the Bing search service, then answering from what comes back.

Local businesses

Bing Places for Business is where you manage your listing on Bing and Bing Maps: categories, hours, photos and contact details.

Your website

Bingbot crawls for Bing. Since February 2026, Bing Webmaster Tools has an AI Performance report showing how often Copilot and Bing's AI summaries cite your pages.

What to do

How to get recommended by Microsoft Copilot.

You can do every step yourself. Or we do them for you, on all six assistants, every month.

  1. 01

    Claim your Bing Places listing

You can import your details from Google Business Profile, then check every field: categories, hours, photos, phone.

  2. 02

Verify your site in Bing Webmaster Tools

Submit your sitemap, fix crawl errors and open the AI Performance report to see which pages Copilot cites.

  3. 03

    Use IndexNow

Bing supports IndexNow, which tells it the moment a page changes, so updated hours or prices reach Bing sooner.

  4. 04

    Leave Bingbot open, without restrictions

Microsoft's NOCACHE and NOARCHIVE meta tags limit how a page can be used in its AI answers. Most businesses should use neither.

  5. 05

Write the facts down on your site

Services, prices, areas and hours, stated plainly, so the page Bing returns has something to quote.

We do all of this for you, on six AI assistants.

$399/mo billed annually or $499 month to month. No setup fee.

FAQ

Questions people ask.

  • Is Copilot just Bing?

It uses Bing's search service to ground its answers, then writes the answer itself. A page that isn't in Bing's index can't be one of Copilot's sources.

  • What does Bing's AI Performance report show?

Total citations of your pages, the average number of your pages cited per day, a sample of the queries that led to them, citations by page and the trend over time. It's been in public preview since February 10, 2026, and it's free.

  • Does Bing matter for ChatGPT too?

Very likely. Seer Interactive found 87% of ChatGPT search citations matched Bing's top 20 results. Work on Bing tends to pay off twice.
